Josephine Astridge
Jo teaches ethics and, through her lifelong love of the natural world, is deeply committed to a low-impact and environmentally conscious way of life. Drawing on a background that spans history, philosophy, horticulture and education, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to the questions that shape contemporary society. More recently, her discovery of applied economics has transformed the way she thinks about human behaviour, decision-making and the human condition.
Formerly a higher education professional in Cornwall, United Kingdom, where she restored a traditional sailing vessel, Josephine has lived in France for the past fifteen years. She now works in higher education and corporate social responsibility, combining intellectual curiosity with a practical interest in how individuals, organisations and communities can contribute to a more sustainable future.
