About Éditions Harptree

Éditions Harptree is the creative imprint founded by Ben Dogley, a British writer of Seychellois heritage who has lived in France since 2011. The imprint brings together literary fiction and non-fiction projects shaped by both analytical insight and a distinctive authorial voice.

Ben’s professional background spans management consulting at KPMG in London and teaching finance, strategy and management at ESSCA School of Management and at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest in western France.

As a doctoral researcher at the Larequoi Laboratory of the Université Paris-Saclay, he has explored how large firms acquire start-ups—particularly in fintech—and the use of open innovation practices within major corporations.

Through Éditions Harptree, he develops writing that blends reflective storytelling with contemporary themes. Ben is also a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi).
